Job Summary

This entry-level position offers an exciting career opportunity for a recent university graduate to begin their career in group financial reporting and to gain hands-on experience with a leading global company. You will join a dynamic team with extensive experience in financial consolidation and reporting, providing you with ample learning opportunities and professional growth.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Team: Assist in preparing the audited annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and SIX requirements.

  • Learn IFRS Topics: Develop knowledge in specific IFRS areas, such as business combinations, taxes, revenue recognition, or leasing, and share insights with the regional finance teams.

  • Monthly Reviews: Help review the group’s monthly consolidated financial statements, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

  • Collaboration: Work with finance teams across various entities to collect and validate financial information for consolidation.

  • Statutory Financial Statements and Regulatory Reporting: Aid in the preparation of statutory financial statements for Swiss entities according to the Swiss Code of Obligations and reporting tasks to the Swiss National Bank.

  • System Management: Support the management of the group’s financial reporting system, Hyperion Financial Management.

  • Team Support: Assist senior team members and gain mentoring from experienced professionals.

  • Ad-Hoc Activities: Engage in diverse, non-routine tasks and projects, working with finance teams across the organization to address specific needs and challenges.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Uni/FH).

  • Recent graduates encouraged to apply.

Work Experience:

  • No prior work experience required.

  • Internship experience in finance or accounting is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

  • Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools like Power BI is an advantage.

Language / Communication Skills:

  • Fluent in English.

  • Knowledge of other languages, especially German, is a plus.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.

  • Enthusiastic about learning and delivering results.
