Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Analyst (Mid-Level or Experienced) to join the Weapons team located in St. Charles, MO.

Position Responsibilities - (Mid-Level 3):

  • Defines, designs, plans and deploys internal/external projects.
  • Develops processes and tools to measure key performance indicators.
  • Extracts, analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance-to-plan.
  • Develops, documents and implements processes and systems in support of company goals.
  • Supports the development and implementation of strategies.
  • Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows.
  • Distributes, updates and tracks procurement plans for supply chain integration and procurement analysis.
  • Assesses and reports compliance to internal/external stakeholders.
  • Develops risk mitigation plan.

Position Responsibilities – (Experienced Level 4):

  • Leads development of processes and tools to measure key performance indicators.
  • Develops and maintains standard supplier contractual terms, conditions and special clauses and agreements.
  • Analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance indicators.
  • Communicates strategic initiatives, projects or procurement activities.
  • Leads cross-functional process management activities.
  • Leads self-assessment and audit teams to identify and implement corrective action.
  • Lead efforts to mitigate risk and resolve issues to high-risk programs.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, To meet export control compliance requirements, “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations
  • Experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
  • Experience in a role that required articulating data analysis summaries verbally or via PowerPoint presentations to various audience including senior management
  • Experience managing and coordinating supply/demand imbalances
  • Experience supporting deliverables for both internal and external customers
  • 3+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product)
  • 3+ years of experience with data analytics and/or project management processes
  • 3+ years of experience in working with cross-functional teams
  • 3+ years of experience reporting status to senior and executive leadership
  • 3+ years of experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external), and suppliers

Typical Education/Experience:

Mid-Level 3: Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Experienced Level 4: Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 15% of the time.

Summary pay range:

Level 3: $76,500 - $94,500
Level 4: $93,500 - $115,500
