SMX is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst, Journeyman with knowledge of Radio Over IP (ROIP) RF technologies and the configuration, integration and administration of RF systems. This position supports a high-profile client in St. Inigoes, MD with a large communication systems program. The Candidate will work with the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF), Special Communications Mission Solutions (SCMS) Division as well as Consequence Management Communications Systems (CMCS) program to support a subset of Tactical and Remote C5I Edge Systems (TARCES) projects including legacy, current and next generation telecommunication, and related communications-electronics (C-E) systems. To provide Sustainment support on various DoD IT systems and infrastructure components and must be knowledgeable of both wired and wireless network devices such as [but not limited to] network switches and routers, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and encryption devices. The candidate will focus technology acumen on assisting systems engineering with integration efforts for integration of both legacy and current state of the art technology supporting various Department of Defense (DoD) entities. The candidate will follow the guidance of designated team lead(s) to ensure team cohesion and mission success. This position may require a non-standard work schedule and frequent travel. Position requires 25% travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations to perform system integration and sustainment support efforts for RF and IT systems.
This position requires a DoD secret security clearance which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.
