The Boeing Company is currently seeking a high performing versatile Associate Software Engineer - C++,QT to join the Phantom Works – International, India team. The Phantom Works – International, India team provides comprehensive software solutions to conduct defense experimentations using modeling and simulation. Responsibilities include development and integration for a variety of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and in house software application development and supporting our operations analyst teams. Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results.
Good communication skills are needed both verbally and written, to Interact with peers and customers. Job requires the ability to work well with others on a team as well as independently. Position Responsibilities:
• The position is office based but may require short-term travel to customer sites and/or Boeing international facilities
• 5+ Years of Experience on development of modeling and simulation applications for military applications.
• Experience in object oriented analysis and design,
• Programming languages: C++, C# , Qt, and knowledge on web technologies (ASP.NET MVC, HTML,CSS, JQuery, IIS,etc)
• Good understanding of Relational database and working experience in MSSQL / SQLite / SQL Server,
• Experience in application integration/migration with both COTS and In-House applications,
• Experience with cross-platform software design and development,
• Working experience in an Agile environment,
• Working experience with cross-functional teams spread across multiple products and locations,
• Hands-on experience with Build and Deployment tools and languages. Experience in best practices and tools around CI/CD.
 
Basic Qualification (Skills Required)
• Hold a degree, or equivalent in Engineering is a must. Masters in Engineering / Technology is preferred.
• Experience in Modeling and Simulation application development for defense applications.
• Candidate must be able to work with cross-functional engineers (integration, verification, software, systems) and operational analysts in a globalized team environment.
• Experience in programming language C, C++, C#, ASP.Net and Web application development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
 
Typical Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology
• 5+ year of simulation systems / software development experience
