Job Description Summary:

The 340B Program Support Specialist requires an extensive knowledge of the 340B program, its regulatory requirements, and related organization policies and procedures. The individual provides oversight for the 340B process and performs audits that meet government agency (Human Resources and Services Administration Office of Pharmacy Affairs, HRSA OPA) requirements to self-audit. The individual performs data collection and analysis to detect deficient controls and to optimize compliance. The position will support the organization involved in internal and/or external (e.g., HRSA OPA, manufacturer, and other third-party) audits. The individual must be a self-starter and capable of planning and performing longitudinal operational, financial, and compliance audits of moderate difficulty and complexity with minimum supervision.

The individual provides oversight of 340B split billing software: monitor for drugs added to or changed in the formulary, ensure that conversion tables match the dispensed and purchased units, and provide guidance to the Medication Sourcing Administrators for any needed changes to the system.
