What would you do? You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data/reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. Statutory Reporting & Tax Compliance involves preparation and filing of complex tax returns, prepares monthly/quarterly calculations/ workpapers, recording and reporting of tax transactions and effective tax rate reconciliation. Tax experience in Federal/ State/ International Tax returns Tax Process Design, OneSource experience and proficiency keyword includes:- ("Statutory Reporting","Tax Compliance" "Corporate Tax" Return",Federal,State", International Tax "State Tax Return" This is the process of generating financial statements in accordance with client policies and statutory requirements. Activities include IFRS to local GAAP reconciliation, updating notes accounts, XBRL tagging, preparing tax packs etc.
What are we looking for? • Ensure end to end operations management for Financial reporting, disclosures, Surveys etc. • Partnering in setting the team’s strategic direction and assisting in the overall running of the team’s operations • Ownership of processes, reports, procedures or products. Subject Matter Expert with knowledge of cross-function processes • Review of critical journal entries, GAAP/STAT supplements and Notes to accounts before submission to onshore team • Should be proficient performing various footnots, Schedules like Sch A, Sch B, Sch BA • Participate or lead special projects, initiatives, ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests • Understand & anticipate clients’ business needs/concerns, etc. & proactively resolve the same • Identify process improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies and enhanced controls • Ensure adequacy of internal controls over financial reporting and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements • Excellent project management, analytical, and interpersonal skills • Established work experience in financial management roles with heavy data-focus • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp Reporting requirements for new FM teams. • Strong affinity / curiosity for financial systems and implementing process • CA/CPA/MBA/Post-Graduate in Finance with 10+ years of experience in Financial Accounting & Reporting (GAAP & STAT) • Knowledge of GAAP/Regulatory reporting, technical accounting principles and GAAP/ STAT reporting requirements • Capable of working with tight deadlines and lead closure of reporting timelines • Effectively balance quality, timeliness and productivity standards • Identify and implement enhancements and efficiencies. • Experience with financial reporting applications (Oracle , Workiva and Wdesk) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with several stakeholders
