Title: AFM Sales Training Leader  

Reports To: VP, China AFM & Asia Marketing and Communications

Supervises: Field Training Manager, Sales Training Specialist

Responsibility level:

Partner with AFM sales team to develop people, process, discipline and tools to enable our business growth.

Primary Duties:

  • In partnership with the business functions to support the development of sales team, processes, tools and effectively lead the execution and implementation of the training based on differentiated needs within AFM organization.
  • Ensures sales team fully understand the content and provides guidance and orientation by identifying key points of attention. Tracks and helps to grow the business pipeline within AFM organization.
  • Lead in developing sales and customer training strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Deliver training courses to sales and customers, focusing on improvement of capability.
  • Lead in establishing sales and customer training curriculum matrix and drive training delivery to improve sales capability, especially with AGM products.
  • Manage the sales training team to monitor and improve sales performance.
  • Leverage digital tools and technologies to engage customers and sales team to conduct the training courses.

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business management or other appropriate discipline.
  • At least 15 years business experience in sales, sales management, and sales training role in automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with supervisory experience. Ability to influence without authority.
  • Proactively identify, resolve or seek assistance utilizing a collaborative approach to overcome challenges before they escalate, to ensure business objectives continue to be met.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills (ability to correspond comfortably and professionally through written and verbal communication with internal and external clients)
  • Advanced project management and meeting facilitation experience
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging, demanding and rapidly changing environment without close supervision.
  • Ability to build trust with others and demonstrate high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to create and maintain an effective and collaborative team environment where you add value as a team member and assume a leadership role on the team.
