Location: Remote with travel to the client as needed.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets, with a strong focus on acquiring new logos and driving net new client engagement and measurable results
  • Proactively identify and engage C-suite and senior-level decision-makers across the Travel & Transportation industry to create new sales opportunities.
  • Accountable for developing an active pipeline and managing varied sales cycle demands by educating customers by developing and maintaining expert level knowledge of products, pricing, and market differentiators.
  • Build and maintain client relationships to drive sales growth.
  • Analyze market data for potential opportunities and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring departmental alignment and synergy.
  • Introduce process improvements and innovative technologies to the sales process.
  • Participate in sales negotiations and contribute to deal closings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in the Travel & Transportation industry, with 3+ years of demonstrated success in a similar role
  • Proven track record in sales and sales enablement
  • Proficiency in sales strategy development, customer relationship management, and market analysis
  • Experience in leveraging industry-specific solutions such as customer experience transformation, IT modernization, or advanced analytics to drive client outcomes.
  •  A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Certified Sales Enablement Professional (CSEP) a plus
  • Existing relationships with top-tier clients in Airlines, Rail, or Transportation Logistics is a significant advantage.

Work Environment

  • Location: Remote with travel to the client as needed. 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
     

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $114,200 - $212,000.
