As a Territory Coverage Associate, you convert staffing gaps into reliable, high‑quality execution. You provide hands‑on support to Merchandisers and Order Writers, maintain operational consistency, uphold brand, execution standards, and ensure stores stays aligned with company expectations.
Primary responsibilities include:
Represent Mondelēz: in stores with professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to execution excellence as you support Merchandisers and Order Writers across the territory.
Serve as a trusted field partner: delivering strong customer service to store teams while reinforcing Mondelēz’s standards and expectations.
Execute daily coverage: completing store visits using Merchandising Excellence standards, Order Writing Excellence, including capturing display photos and documenting execution through DMI & Sales force.
Implement promotional displays: ensuring compliance with RTMnegotiated plans and maintaining strong visibility of our brands.
Follow assigned schedules: executing daily priorities set by your District Manager (DM) or RTM to ensure efficient and effective territory coverage.
Assist with seasonal transitions: supporting new product launches, seasonal merchandising, and highvisibility promotional events.
Build and maintain relationships: partnering with store personnel—including receivers, department managers, and store leadership—to support smooth execution and collaboration.
Support capability building: reinforcing foundational skills and assisting with the onboarding of new Merchandisers and Order Writers to strengthen field capability.
Develop for future leadership: building the operational, communication, and problemsolving skills that serve as a strong foundation for future advancement into management roles.
Stay Safe & Compliant: Embrace the physical nature of the role—including lifting, bending, and moving product—while following all safety protocols, operational guidelines, and company vehicle policies to ensure safe and responsible driving across the territory.

Coverage & Execution Excellence– Skilled in stepping into Merchandiser and Order Writer roles to maintain consistent shelf standards, product rotation, and display execution across the territory.

Digital Readiness – Confident using mobile tools and applications to follow schedules, document execution, capture display photos, and complete coverage tasks accurately.
Adaptability & Initiative – Flexible and proactive in responding to coverage needs, seasonal priorities, and unexpected store challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.
Time & Task Management – Organized and efficient in completing store visits, managing coverage assignments, and maintaining consistent execution across multiple locations.
Physical Readiness – Energetic and capable of lifting, bending, and moving product throughout the day with pride and purpose.
Capability Support– Confident reinforcing foundational skills and supporting the onboarding of new Merchandisers and Order Writers to strengthen field capability.
Requirements Include:
Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides.
High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
1-3 years of experience in retail or consumer goods preferred
Live within 50 miles range from the primary location: Bedminster, New Jersey
Secondary Location: New Jersey: Clark, Princeton // New York: Staten Island.
Schedule availability required: Monday to Friday - any occasional changes are communicated in advance.
Ability to travel across assigned markets
Ability to perform physical activities (frequent lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs., occasionally over 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, etc.)
Successful completion of drug test, MVR check, and general background check
