  • Overall responsibility to carry out all the service provisions of the contract with the devoted time exclusively for the required scope of work with support from the Site Manager.
  • Supervise the administrative work including O&M Services, safety, training, inventory management, quality assurance, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and contract administration.
  • Provide daily oversight and direction of employee teams to ensure operational excellence; including personnel scheduling, work order, safety, and productivity plans, material availability, and the handling and resolution of employee issues.
  • Interact daily with employee team members to provide support and on-the-job training.
  • Strive to improve management, employee, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop processes and documentation to support operational activities.
  • Perform duties in a safe, efficient and expeditious manner and provide proper team leadership and interaction for executing service excellence.
  • Attend regularly scheduled and/or on-demand meetings, required system training sessions, tours and inspections.
  • Identify potential problems by monitoring and evaluating the required systems and equipment, and developing solutions for corrective maintenance.
  • Review and approve expenditures for parts, supplies, materials, tools, equipment, and subcontracted work requirements with support from the Site Manager.
  • Comply with company safety program and trainings.
  • Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Associate Degree or Technical College Certification preferred.
  • 2+ years maintenance experience preferred.
  • HVAC experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a Supervisory capacity required.
  • Strong organizational, participative management, team building, customer service and verbal & written communication skills;
  • Ability to operate the CMMS database;
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel and CMMS Database);
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Familiarity with Airport operations a plus.
  • Computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to clearly direct, lead work tasks, and delegate assignments to peers.
  • Ability to communicate professionally to customers and fellow employees.
  • Ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport.
  • Ability to work 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th shift including weekends and holidays.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of Maintenance Team Leader, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Ability to work in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp around aircrafts and the confined areas of baggage conveyor systems. Specific vision abilities required by this job include good close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Good hand / eye coordination is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment is similar to airport operation with vehicular traffic. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, outside weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, cold, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Employees will work on an airport ramp around aircrafts and around heavy equipment.
