The MarTech Product Operations Specialist  serves as a key operational bridge between Product, Engineering, and Marketing Operations within the client's marketing ecosystem. This role ensures the integrity, usability, and scalability of an AI Agent and MarTech platforms by driving governance, product operations, and release enablement.

The role requires strong analytical, communication, and process-design skills, with a focus on translating business and marketing needs into structured, systemized logic that enhances marketer experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Product Operations & Governance

  • Maintain and evolve platform governance frameworks — including taxonomy, metadata standards, and validation logic — ensuring consistency across all campaigns and regions.

  • Manage Jira ticket triage and categorization, distinguishing between defects, enhancement requests, and education gaps; coordinate next steps with Marketing Operations and Engineering.

  • Define operational requirements, identify missing system logic, and document recommendations for future automation or feature development.

  • Own quality assurance (QA) and UAT readiness processes for new releases, feature enhancements, and bug fixes, ensuring accuracy and alignment before production deployment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the single point of contact connecting Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams for all operational inquiries, logic clarifications, and platform escalations.

  • Partner with stakeholders to validate PRDs, ensuring rules and logic reflect actual marketing workflows.

  • Collaborate with Engineering during UAT to confirm defect fixes, validate expected behaviors, and ensure end-to-end release quality.

  • Develop clear, concise release communications outlining new features, resolved issues, and known limitations.

Process Improvement & Systemization

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows within the AI Agent and MarTech platforms through optimizations, improved validations, or logic mapping.

  • Maintain documentation libraries and governance trackers to ensure alignment across stakeholders and consistent product behavior.

  • Support the adoption of new platform capabilities.

Data Integrity & Reporting

  • Track ticket volume, resolution time, and root-cause patterns to inform product roadmap decisions.

  • Provide visibility into recurring issues and recommend process or logic updates to improve marketer experience and platform reliability.

  • Maintain auditable records of UAT outcomes, logic updates, and metadata changes for reference in future releases.

Qualifications

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing technology operations, product operations, or systems governance.

  • Strong understanding of marketing automation or campaign management ecosystems.

  • Hands-on experience with Jira, QA/UAT workflows, and release documentation.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving.

  • Excellent communication skills; able to distill technical or product concepts into clear, actionable documentation.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with product management frameworks, agile processes, and feature rollout coordination.

  • Prior experience in enterprise-scale B2C/B2B marketing environments.

  • Working knowledge of data taxonomies, validation logic, or metadata structures used in marketing systems.
