Role Definition
The Caterpillar Tooling team in Monterrey, Mexico, has an opportunity for an entry level engineer to serve as a tooling designer. This coordinating role will work under the guidance of experienced tooling engineers to support the concept, design and development tools with different as mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic systems.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain a keen understanding of internal and external customers' needs
• Support the design, development and validation of mechanical fixtures
• Develop or definition of plans for tooling designs
• Participate in tooling design reviews to share recommendations with process partners
Degree Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in either Mechanical, Automotive, Materials, or Mechatronics engineering disciplines from an accredited university.
