Summary: As an Application Developer in the Data Architecture team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and their alignment with business needs. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand application requirements. - Design and develop applications using Apache Hadoop and other relevant technologies. - Configure and customize applications to meet specific business needs. - Perform testing and debugging of applications to ensure their functionality and performance - Designing and coding Hadoop applications for analyzing all data collections - Design and implement large scale data processing using Hadoop - Data Reporting - Testing scripts and analysis the results closely - Creating reports using Hadoop, SQL and Tableau Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache Hadoop. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with data processing frameworks like Spark or Flink. - Strong understanding of distributed computing principles and big data processing. - Experience with data ingestion, storage, and retrieval using Hadoop ecosystem tools. - Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles. - Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Apache Hadoop. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
