We at Coforge are hiring an Automation Tester – Telecom / SIP to develop and execute automated tests for telecom and embedded platforms. The professional will work with developers, automation testers, and manual testers from Brazil and the US.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated tests using Python and Robot Framework.
• Test and validate SIP signaling and voice protocols.
• Analyze network traffic and troubleshoot issues using Wireshark.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system tests.
• Investigate failures, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
• Create test cases, test plans, and automation scripts.
• Work collaboratively with development and QA teams.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Test automation experience.
• Python.
• Robot Framework.
• Session Initiation Protocol - SIP signaling.
• Wireshark.
• TCP/IP.
• UDP.
• RTP.
• Telecom/network testing experience.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Upper-intermediate or Advanced English.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Linux CLI.
• Linux servers.
• Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP).
• Megaco / H.248.
• Test Planning.
• Jira or similar defect management tools.
• Asterisk / FreePBX administration and troubleshooting.
• DHCP, DNS, FTP, and TFTP server configuration.
• TR-069 protocol knowledge.
• SIPp for SIP traffic generation and validation.
• Telecom/network protocols.
