The Position

What Should you do

  • Operational Training for End-users: Provide comprehensive operational training to the end-users of Roche Sequencing Solutions(RSS) and Molecular Diagnostics (MDx) and related offerings.
  • Remote and On-site Support: Provide prompt application support and troubleshooting assistance, both remotely and on-site, for assigned and assisted accounts.
  • Training for New Hires: Conduct product operator training for new team members to ensure they are proficient with instrument use.
  • Timely Troubleshooting Management: Ensure troubleshooting calls for assigned and assisted accounts are promptly managed and resolved.
  • CRM Documentation: Accurately document all account activities and product issues in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Product Demonstrations and Evaluations: Conduct and assist in product demonstrations, presentations, and evaluations for customers, focusing on the Roche Molecular Diagnostics/Sequencing series.
  • Technical Support in Analysis: Provide customers with technical support for analyzing and summarizing experimental results.
  • Project Collaboration and Planning: Effectively evaluate installation projects, collaborating closely with project applications to complete planning on schedule.
  • LDTS Development: Support clients in developing and assessing diagnostic tests to ensure adherence to LDT regulatory requirements.

Who you are

  • Qualifications:
    • A strong compliance record with no material compliance violations identified in the past five years.
    • Medical Technologist license is a plus.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a relevant scientific discipline is required; a Master's degree or higher is preferred..
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, with direct, front-line background in the Medical Technology Service industry highly preferred.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Exhibit strong knowledge of Molecular Diagnostics (MDx) product portfolios.
    • Strong understanding of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows and bioinformatics analysis pipeline
    • Knowledge of LDTS,CAP and ISO 15189 medical laboratory certification standard.
    • Strong understanding of compliance requirements and high standards of integrity
    • Proficient in utilizing AI software, such as NotebookLM/Gemini, for data retrieval,organization, and analysis
  • Key competencies: Customer Understanding, Account Management, Service Orientation,Responsiveness, Problem-solving.
  • Technical Competencies:
    • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Proficiency in reading and written English is required, with the ability to conduct meeting discussions in English and articulate ideas effectively. Must be capable of escalating customer issues to global support teams and communicating with them via written correspondence or online meetings when necessary.
