GENERAL FUNCTION:

As a member of an Agile squad, you will be responsible for implementing new features and enabling business capabilities using modern software engineering tools, platforms, and practices. You will collaborate closely with Marketing, CRM, Analytics, Digital, and Technology teams to deliver solutions that enhance customer acquisition, engagement, personalization, and campaign execution.

This role adheres to engineering standards and best practices established by communities of practice and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement. Team members share responsibility and accountability for managing risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and following established policies, procedures, and security standards. A commitment to doing the right thing for customers and colleagues drives decisions, behaviors, and outcomes that support a positive customer experience.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer who is passionate about technology, digital marketing, data, and customer experience. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and grow within the Marketing Technology (MarTech) ecosystem, supporting the development, integration, and optimization of platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Adobe Experience Cloud, customer data platforms (CDPs), analytics solutions, and other digital marketing technologies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implement new features while maintaining overall quality of software

Assist in implementing customer journeys, campaign automation, personalization capabilities, and digital experiences.

Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Analytics, and Technology teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Contribute to a culture of learning by documenting and sharing technical knowledge as a developer on an agile squad

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to development processes, automation, and platform capabilities.

Participate in developer communities of practice by following best practices, participating in code reviews, and sharing knowledge

Remain current on relevant technology trends

Participate in researching and resolving customer issues

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Marketing Technology, or comparable with 2 years or less software development experience

 Knowledge of object-oriented design and development

Experience with one or more of the following programing languages:

o Java (8 or above)

o JavaScript and TypeScript

o Python

o C#

Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and data integration concepts.

Knowledge of relational databases and SQL

 Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle concepts.

Experience with version control solutions, preferably Git/GitHub

Understanding of the full software development lifecycle

Familiarity with security best practices for software development

Strong problem-solving skills

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
