Summary:
As a Security L2 Entra ID Engineer, a typical day involves in day-to-day operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity environments. The role supports 24 7 IAM operations, resolves standard and recurring incidents, executes approved changes, and escalates complex issues to L3 SMEs as required, ensuring stable and compliant identity services.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent implementation across cloud environments
- Provide L2 operational support for Microsoft Entra ID in a 24 7 support environment
- Perform day-to-day administration and monitoring of Microsoft Entra ID services including MFA, SSPR, Conditional Access, Entra SSO, and Enterprise Applications
- Support Active Directory operations under guidance, including user/group management, basic Group Policy checks, logon issues, and account lockouts
- Troubleshoot standard MFA, authentication, and application SSO issues, escalating complex or design-level issues to L3
- Support Entra ID Connect operations, including health monitoring, sync validation, and basic issue triage
- Assist with AD FS and proxy-related issues, including certificate validation and connectivity checks
- Support certificate lifecycle activities, including monitoring expiry, renewals, and CRL availability, with escalation for complex PKI issues
- Provide delegated access to users and teams based on RBAC and approved requests
- Execute standard changes and service requests in line with documented SOPs and client change management processes
- Perform routine operational checks, incident triage, and service health monitoring across IAM platforms
- Maintain operational documentation and contribute to SOPs and KB updates based on recurring issues
- Escalate unresolved or high-impact incidents to L3 SMEs with clear diagnostics and context

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Identity Access Management (IAM).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and architecture design.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in IAM, identity, or directory services
- Experience working in 24 7 support operations preferred
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Entra ID in an enterprise environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory fundamentals
- Experience with Entra ID features including MFA, SSPR, Conditional Access, and Enterprise Applications
- Working knowledge of Entra ID Connect and hybrid identity concepts
- Exposure to SAML, OAuth, and OIDC–based application integrations
- Working knowledge of AD FS and proxy server concepts
- Basic understanding of Microsoft PKI, including certificates and CRL concepts
- Experience using PowerShell or Azure CLI for operational tasks and troubleshooting

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Identity Access Management (IAM)
- Must have AZ-900, AZ-104, SC-300 Microsoft certifications.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
