The Director, Sales Enablement is a pivotal leadership role focused on empowering our sales teams to achieve their full potential. You’ll spearhead initiatives that drive productivity, build essential capabilities, and deliver measurable results. From designing training programs to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, your work will directly shape the success of our sales organization.

We’re looking for an inspiring leader who thrives on collaboration, excels at motivating teams, and has a passion for creating impactful learning experiences. You’ll balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, working across teams to deliver programs that are as engaging as they are effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Deliver Impactful Training: Build and maintain a global sales training program that equips our teams to excel, from onboarding new hires to advancing the skills of seasoned professionals. Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented culture where everyone feels empowered to innovate, learn, and achieve their best.

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with senior leaders and subject matter experts to align enablement programs with business priorities and sales strategies.

  • Foster Continuous Learning: Create development programs that engage and inspire, leveraging a mix of live training, e-learning, and self-paced resources to meet diverse learning needs.

  • Create Enjoyable Experiences: Ensure training programs are not only effective but also FUN and engaging, fostering an environment where learning feels exciting and empowering.

  • Measure What Matters: Define and track key metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs, creating feedback loops and identifying opportunities for improvement and celebrating wins along the way.

  • Drive Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends to introduce fresh ideas and new approaches that keep our enablement programs cutting-edge.

  • Streamline Tools and Resources: Oversee the creation and management of sales enablement content, ensuring it’s easy to access, up-to-date, and actionable.

  • Be the Go-To Partner: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to develop tools like sales playbooks, GTM strategies, and negotiation guides that drive real business impact.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in high-performing sales organizations, with expertise in sales enablement or sales training.

  • A track record of building and scaling training programs that drive results in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Proven ability to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on execution. You’re just as comfortable presenting to senior executives as you are leading a training session.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.

  • A passion for teaching and mentoring, with a knack for making complex ideas simple, engaging, and actionable.

  • Experience designing and delivering training for a variety of formats (live, virtual, self-paced) and audiences.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels.

The compensation for this position ranges from $129,210.00 - $281,305.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives. Yahoo has a high degree of flexibility around employee location and hybrid working. In fact, our flexible-hybrid approach to work is one of the things our employees rave about.
