Job Description

Main Responsibility:

Execute Access strategy trough value demonstration of the products and providing affordable solutions that allow avoid and/or remove barriers.

Establish scientific and economical engagement with payers, through a deep knowledge of the product across indications and its competitors.

Functions

  • Scientific and economic relationship with stakeholders of MOH, SS and other stakeholders in private and public sector through a deep knowledge of the product, competitors, and access environment across product indications.
  • Support value proposition design and presentations. Value-based health programs implementation.  Implement affordability solutions and innovative contracting models.
  • Built and follow up strategy and actions for reimburse of products and indications out national formulary
  • Identify necessities / opportunities in MOH, Social Security and other public and private stakeholders and provide customer solutions
  • Shape the environment to minimize future access barriers

Profile

  • Professional formation: Background in Health care areas (Medicine, Biochemistry or Nurse), with knowledge/experience in epidemiology or public health
  • As a plus: Specialization in health care management, epidemiology, public health, health economics and/or quality insurance
  • 3 years of experience in Market Access in pharmaceutical companies or /administrative positions in MOH, SS
  • Knowledge of the Ecuadorian health care system
  • Experience and relationship with MOH, Social Security (required), Academia, PAGS, ONGs (desirable)
  • mild level of English
  • Availability for travel 50% per month
  • Mild/ advanced level of  Excel y Power Point management
