Position Summary:  Responsible for distribution and communication of production schedules throughout the Value Stream.  Candidate will work with various departments to ensure visibility of priorities as determined by schedules and promise dates.

Responsibility:

  • Evaluate weekly sales order demand and create daily production schedules.
  • Ensure timely execution of work order releases and department schedules.
  • Distribute production paperwork and schedules as necessary.
  • Expedite the flow of materials from initial order through production and shipment of finished goods.
  • Assist departments in prioritizing the production schedule.
  • Maintain full knowledge of sales order demand, product schedules and process status.
  • Provide status updates and communicate concerns and problems, as required to manamement.
  • Create or assist with reports as needed.
  • Develop and adhere to Standard Work

Skills:

  • General understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment
  • General understanding of manufacturing drawings.
  • General understanding of inventory control and planning processes.
  • Ability to make decisions based on standard practices.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • ERP experience preferred.
