Your Role:

We are looking for an experienced and delivery-focused Advanced Business Analyst to help shape, define and implement innovative technology solutions for our Front Office business partners. Working as part of a collaborative Agile squad, you will translate complex investment business needs into clear, actionable requirements and play a key role in delivering solutions that support regional and global priorities.

This is a varied role combining business analysis, stakeholder engagement and light project management. You will work closely with Front Office, Investment Technology, Operations, Compliance and vendor teams to solve business problems, improve processes and contribute to critical platforms that underpin our Investment Technology strategic imperatives.

What you will be doing:

Partner with Front Office stakeholders to understand priorities, uncover detailed requirements and turn business challenges into practical technology solutions.

Collaborate across Investment Technology, Capital Markets, Investment Compliance, Investment Services and external vendors to support effective delivery from discovery through implementation.

Challenge current ways of working and bring fresh thinking to process improvement, automation and future-focused solution design.

Take ownership of smaller initiatives, including planning, tracking delivery progress, communicating status updates and managing risks, issues and dependencies.

Provide consultative support to Engineering Run and Support teams, helping ensure solutions are well understood, operationally sustainable and aligned to business expectations.

Produce clear documentation, user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria that enable effective delivery, testing and business adoption.

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Asset Management, Investment Banking or a comparable financial services technology environment, with exposure to front office investment processes and Agile delivery.

  • Strong understanding of business analysis techniques, stakeholder management, requirements elicitation, process mapping and user story development.

  • Knowledge of investment management workflows, front office platforms, data, reporting or investment compliance processes would be highly beneficial.

  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience. Business analysis, Agile, project management or investment management qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.

  • Curious, proactive and collaborative, with excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage stakeholders at different levels.

  • The successful candidate will be organised, commercially aware, comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by delivering high-quality outcomes that make a measurable difference to the business.

Disability Confident Scheme

Applicants who opt in to the Disability Confident Scheme and meet the ‘minimum criteria’ for the role will be offered an interview. We are committed to providing an inclusive recruitment process for all candidates who make an application. By opting-in to this scheme, applicants will be disclosing that they have a disability solely for the purpose of the Disability Confident Scheme.

The Disability Confident Scheme only guarantees an interview – it does not automatically mean that applicants interviewed will gain employment with Invesco at that time.

To apply through the Disability Confident Scheme, you’ll need to firstly ensure you have applied for the role via our external careers page. Following this, you’ll need to email us at [email protected] confirming your wish to opt-in, alongside your contact details and the title of the role you wish to apply for.
