This role supports the Senior Project Manager in executing key projects within the Global Engineering & Automation portfolio. The Project Manager develops project plans, manages tasks and timelines, addresses risks and issues, and ensures clear communication with stakeholders. As part of the Project Management team, this role helps strengthen project management best practices and supports a rapidly growing division. The position is essential to delivering internal and external initiatives and promoting a culture of improvement and innovation.

This is an onsite role in our Mt Juliet TN facility, with travel up to 30%.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of engineering, fabrication, assembly, and deviceautomation projects, including production, R&D, strategic initiatives, and CAPEX/OPEX efforts
  • Lead endtoend project delivery—planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout—ensuring timelines, budgets, and scope requirements are consistently met
  • Apply project management best practices to balance scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality while driving process improvements and business transformation
  • Track and report key project metrics, milestones, dependencies, compliance requirements, and overall status to stakeholders and leadership
  • Identify project risks, develop and implement mitigation plans, and escalate issues when necessary
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear, transparent, and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead and motivate crossfunctional teams across Global Engineering & Automation and broader organizational groups to achieve project objectives and business value
  • Promote strong communication and collaboration across multiple sites and functional areas
  • Build an understanding of the technical issues and challenges associated with each project to support effective decisionmaking
  • Operate with minimal supervision while acting as a project leader and strategic partner to senior leadership
  • Coordinate with Accounting and Fixed Asset teams to accurately classify and capture expenses for CAPEX projects

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably within engineering or automation environments
  • Experience managing full machinebuild projects from initial concept through installation and commissioning
  • Background in system integration involving robotics, automation, conveyance systems, machine vision, AI, and mobile robotics
  • Proven success leading highvisibility R&D initiatives, strategic machine development, and OPEX/CAPEX projects
  • Experience overseeing project budgets ranging from $500K to $2.5M
  • Handson experience managing field installations and onsite equipment commissioning
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with endusers and contractors in a commercial or customerfacing capacity
  • Strong communication skills, with regular experience presenting to and engaging with executive leadership
  • Experience driving continuous improvement and implementing business process changes
  • 3+ years of experience using project management software; Asana proficiency preferred
  • Highly organized, selfmotivated, and detailoriented, with strong followthrough and accountability

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • 3+ years of training or experience in a technical, engineering, or sciencerelated discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and practical experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to create clear presentations, status updates, reports, and professional correspondence
  • Experience compiling detailed reports and project documentation, including drafting technical reports and proposals, identifying discrepancies, and evaluating the impact of riskmitigation options
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
  • Steady, calm approach to managing multiple fastmoving projects in a dynamic environment
  • Strong influencing and relationshipbuilding skills to guide crossfunctional resources without direct authority
  • Ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities with minimal guidance from senior leadership
  • Comfortable interacting daily with customers, vendors, and executives; able to handle sensitive matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and a businessdevelopment mindset
  • Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to approach challenges logically and strategically

Pay Range:

$88,000.00 - $147,000.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
