About Us - Cardiac Diagnostics

• Patients presenting to the Freeman Heart Institute on an outpatient or inpatient basis that are in need of non-invasive cardiac testing, can find comprehensive testing all within the same department including: Transthoracic Echocardiography, Pharmaceutical Stress Testing and Treadmill Stress Testing

• The normal hours of operation for the Echo Lab are 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

• Critical Care services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

• A dedicated staff member is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to provide critical/emergency services

• A team of registered technologists are on call to provide 24 hour services on weekends and holidays

What You’ll Do 

In conjunction with the medical plan of care, independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families; plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of effective care. Supervision of echo stress tests, both inpatient and outpatient, in the echo lab and nuclear medicine lab.

Requirements 

Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
