Sitting within CBA’s Institutional Banking & Markets business, the Banks, Government and Education coverage team proactively develop client relationships and originate new business opportunities through thought leadership, structuring and execution of product solutions tailored to the needs of our public sector clients.
 

As a Client Coverage Associate (Analyst) in this Perth based role, you’ll be joining a high performing team and supporting Senior Bankers across various aspects of client management and deal related activity including the preparation of pitch packs and information materials, financial modelling, completing annual credit reviews and client due diligence.
 

Do work that matters:
 

You will play a key role in providing client, transaction and operational support to Senior Bankers across the customer lifecycle, responsibilities include:  

• Working as part of a Deal Team over the lifecycle of a transaction to support and drive documentation, execution, establishment, settlement and in-life maintenance processes
• Preparing annual credit reviews and provide analytical and credit related support in preparation of credit applications for new transactions.
• Liaise with product partners, credit risk and other stakeholders as required
• Collecting client information for ‘KYC’ reviews of existing and on-boarding of new clients
• Performing portfolio monitoring activities such as breach management and other reporting as well as liaise with credit risk where required
• Inputting and maintaining client, credit and transaction data.
   

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

• A strong academic background with tertiary studies in Business, Engineering or Law.
• Prior experience in Business, Commercial or Institutional banking with well- developed credit skills and knowledge of CBA / Bankwest systems and processes
• Experience in engaging and building credibility and strong client relationships, and leveraging internal relationships to deliver against revenue and client satisfaction targets.
• A proven ability to grasp complex client structures and manage workloads in a dynamic environment.
