Job Description

Support Group AirAsia Airline Core Ancillary Revenue Management Function:

  • Monitor Airline Ancillary Revenue performance and propose/ execute revenue strategy for revenue optimisation at route level

  • Ensuring monthly ancillary target are met

  • Monitoring market performance & addressing competitor strategies via tactical pricing adjustment/launching promotional campaign 

  • Identify revenue maximisation opportunities by performing deep-dive analysis on a range of data sources (revenue, customer feedback, marketing)

  • Prepare regular performance report and proactively highlight key findings to management

  • Question existing pricing approaches and experiment with new concepts

  • Assess price change and sales campaign impact towards ancillary revenue performance

  • Pricing process optimisation -to establish & streamline pricing filing/  governance process

  • Leadership expectation in coaching analysts to maximize ancillary revenue 

  • Partner with technology, analytics and other functions to deliver analytics capabilities/ reporting

  • Work closely with different stakeholders i.e Route Revenue/ Pricing Ops/ Marketing/ Product/ Data Science/ Operation etc to jointly ensure successful execution of pricing initiative

  • Manage small-scale projects as a part of project management responsibilities

  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Traits

  • Demonstrate airline business acumen including understanding of airline ancillary products, market dynamics, and passenger behaviour

  • Passionate about data-driven insights and ability to recommend appropriate strategies that drives impact to the business

  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional affiliates/partners in a fast-paced environment

  • Meticulous, analytical, independent, willingness to learn and a self-starter


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Aviation Management or related field

  • 3-5 years’ experience in pricing and revenue management required

  • Excellent MS Office and or Google Suite skills required

  • Ability to produce high quality quantitative methods

  • Highly motivated

  • Strong leadership, analytical, communications and interpersonal skills

  • Eye for identifying need for process improvements and ability to translate into an action plan
