About the Opportunity
We have an exciting leadership opportunity available for a dynamic and experienced Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to join our East Melbourne campus, overseeing the Orthopaedic and High Dependency Unit (HDU).
As NUM, you will play a critical role in leading a dedicated multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality post-operative and complex surgical care. You will work closely with clinical, allied health, and medical professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

You’re an inspiring, clinically skilled and people-focused leader with a passion for delivering outstanding care in a fast-paced surgical environment. You thrive in high acuity settings and have a demonstrated ability to lead teams through change and innovation.
Key Skills & Experience
Proven clinical leadership in a high acuity surgical or HDU environment
Orthopaedic and post-operative nursing experience (desirable)
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification and high dependency clinical skills
Strong patient advocacy and commitment to safety and service excellence
Effective communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and relevant post-graduate qualifications
