Responsible for selling complex hardware upgrades, software products and professional services in the Radiation Oncology and Oncology space to clinicians and administration.  Will also be responsible for recognizing revenue for products that currently are in the backlog.

  • Specializes in selling the entire Varian portfolio:
    • Primary focus: Linear accelerator upgrades, software add-ons, and single event consulting services
  • Region focused - Has the ability to work with large teams consisting of District Managers, Technical Solution Managers, and Clinical Solution Managers.
  • Work with Director and Manager to define strategy and targeted product lines.  Will be responsible for managing and coordinating the sales of the targeted product lines. This includes being the product expert for the product lines, developing and presenting sales proposal, and follow-up to build the pipeline and close the business.
  • Will be responsible for defined sales campaigns, which includes reporting and tracking metrics, order results, and forecasting for given region
  • Must be an excellent communicator and able to present to small and large audiences via Microsoft Teams.
  • Must be an expert at articulating the value proposition of product lines and integration with other Varian solutions.
  • Have the ability to assist with the correct configuration of customer quotations
  • Have the ability to do gap analysis of current customers products.

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge: Fully qualified, experienced professional; career-level sales account manager. Other Desired Skills and Knowledge: Required Certifications and Training: Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility. Experience Level with Business Tools: Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. : Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience)
