We have an opportunity for a temporary Machine Operator to join the Delavan, WI team.

You will operate machines to perform tasks like drilling, threading, and boring on various materials. You will use CNC and manual equipment, measuring tools, hoists, and hand/power/air tools and maintain coolant levels and perform routine maintenance.

Job Duties:

• Perform operations necessary to face, turn, bore, chamfer, groove, thread, drill, tap, and wash a variety of materials and parts
• Utilize CNC equipment, manual machines, precision measuring equipment, overhead hoists, hand tools/power tools/air tools, and refractometer
• May be required to read part drawings and use adjustable and fixed gauges to check work
• Maintain proper coolant ratios and levels and perform routine maintenance
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Medium work frequently and heavy work infrequently (Lifting 20-30lbs)
• Escalate issues or questions about measurements or machine operation to Lead Machinist or Supervisor.

Key Qualifications:

• Be able to work from verbal instructions, written work instructions, and quality plans with minimal supervision
• Basic hand gauging (calipers, micrometer, torque wrench etc.)
• Must have knowledge of machining processes and problem-solving skills

Shift/Hours: 

• 2nd Shift:  3:00pm – 11:00pm Monday – Friday  
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. 
• Possibility for temp to hire

Physical Requirements:

Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs.

Compensation: 

The hourly pay for this role is: $24.00 - $26.00/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
