Job Description:

Summary of Position:  Manage service projects, monitors field service team members while on site, coordinates project resources (equipment rentals, materials, drawings, scheduling, and travel). Manages service vehicle to ensure tools and parts are fully stocked and coordinate general vehicle maintenance upkeep.  Provide customer support for installation, operation, maintenance, and warranty service of Apache products. Conduct equipment audits. Knowledge and experience with ASME pressure vessels. Domestic and International travel is expected to be approximately 80%, with average on site project duration of less than a month.

Position Responsibilities:
 

  • USA/International territory where you will establish relationships with customers and find new customers by efficiently developing customer service routes.
  • Manages service projects, including working with 3rd party weld inspectors.
  • Assist with quoting based on parts and services required at location.
  • Represent and assists the interests of Apache Stainless Equipment while assisting customers in problem solving/decision making process as it relates to the installation, maintenance, and operation of purchased equipment.
  • Conduct equipment audits
  • Meet project delivery dates within defined scope and labor hours
  • Lead work crews and subcontractors on site to realize project objectives
  • Minimize indirect labor
  • Install and commission equipment per customer requirements
  • Employ safe work practices according to Apache requirements and comply with customer safety rules, including confined space entry
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment at customer locations along with delivering parts as required.
  • Train customers on proper use and maintenance of Apache furnished equipment.
  • Certify equipment is being run properly and safely at customer locations
  • Complete Field Service Report and Travel Expense Report after each assignment.
  • Assist with factory maintenance and manufacturing requirements as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by Apache Management

Qualifications: 

  • ASME Pressure experience desired
  • High degree of knowledge and skills in welding, machine shop equipment, electrical and hydraulic assembly, general assembly procedures and general equipment maintenance
  • Computer literacy
  • Exhibit professionalism and interactions with customers and Apache personnel
  • Ability to articulate issues and proposed solutions accurately and concisely to avoid misconceptions and oversights.
  • Tradesman credentials are a plus
