Job Purpose
The Sales Manager is responsible for directing the sales activities in North America region, for multiple product lines within one of BorgWarner’s key division for a major customer. Has knowledge of the organization, the business and sales strategies. Participates in the development and implementation of the sales and customer strategies and staffing model. This includes maintaining some key client relationships and managing and training a team of sales staff. While coordinating with cross-functional departments within the business unit, the Sales Manager owns the customer strategy and is accountable for the growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
