Packaging Engineer Intern

Printpack’s Technology and Innovation team is seeking a Packaging Engineer Intern for Spring 2025 (January 2025-June 2025). This internship will provide a unique opportunity to work directly with Product Development designing next generation packaging solutions, with Manufacturing personnel utilizing state of the art equipment, and with Sales and Marketing professionals creating strategic growth platforms.  This is a full-time position located in Atlanta, GA and will report to a Product Development Manager.  This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience managing challenging projects with the largest and fastest growing consumer products companies in the US.

This internship offers competitive compensation and housing stipend.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Working toward a Bachelor of Science in Packaging or related technical field.

  • GPA of 3.0 or above.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage activities including: specification consolidation, packaging materials performance criteria, sample fabrication, and prototyping.

  • Provide support to Manufacturing by implementing standard operating procedures on equipment and supporting development trials.

  • Conduct basic research on new technologies.

  • Interact with Sales, Marketing, and Technical associates on various product platforms and market development initiatives.

  • Facilitate Product Development/Marketing innovation sessions by organizing, completing pre-work or research, and following up on actions items created.
