The position of Financial Analyst within FP&A will be responsible for working with Finance leadership, & cross-functional departments in the business. The primary responsibilities will include supporting the SharkNinja Marketing organization. Reporting to the Manager of FP&A, this position is part of a dynamic team that works in a fast-paced environment, where keen attention to detail and an ability to partner with the business is crucial to success. 

 Essential Functions 

  • Key member of the FP&A team supporting the North America Marketing organization. 
  • Forecast and analyze financial elements related to marketing initiatives and budgets. 
  • Support the month-end close process for marketing expenses, partnering closely with accounting and business partners to ensure accurate and timely financial analysis. 
  • Build & generate analysis from a variety of different data sources and functional groups on a global basis. 
  • Ad hoc analytics and other duties, including special projects, as assigned. 
  • Develop and refine internal reporting processes for marketing spend, leveraging Business Intelligence (BI) tools.  
  • Create analysis and presentations that condense complex topics into actionable information that is communicated effectively to the business 

 

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant work or internship experience in Finance/ Accounting. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required, especially the need to have exceptional modeling skills in Excel. Experience with Power BI preferred. 
  • Previous experience with budgeting and analysis, preferably in consumer products or retail. 
  • Effective communication and social skills, proven ability to partner cross-functionally 
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills, with strong accountability 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead competing priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Domo or Adaptive Insights experience a plus
