Key Responsibilities:
Ensure and maintain technician productivity and efficiency levels at or above 85%.
Effectively plan and schedule shop workload to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
Oversee equipment downtime, minimize the need for outsourced repairs, and coordinate closely with operations to ensure equipment availability.
Primary Duties:
Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities with the ability to train, guide, and motivate team members in a fast-paced shop environment.
Possession of OSHA, TIA, OE, or other relevant safety/mechanical certifications is advantageous, though not mandatory.
Must have reliable transportation, a strong work ethic, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Required Education:
No formal education requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on trailer mechanic experience.
Proven leadership experience in a supervisory, lead, or foreman role within a shop or maintenance setting.
