This role is responsible for executing end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and purchase order management. You will support operational continuity by ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of technical equipment, components, and services. The role operates independently and requires applying established procurement processes, data analysis, and supplier performance management.
What you will do
- Identify and onboard suppliers based on defined criteria for cost, quality, and service performance.
- Manage supplier performance using key metrics such as cost, quality, and on-time delivery rates.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships to support continuity of supply and contract compliance.
- Negotiate pricing, volume discounts, and contract terms to secure cost savings and favorable agreements.
- Execute cost savings and cost avoidance initiatives, tracking results against defined targets or budgets.
- Create and manage purchase orders in ERP systems with accurate data and adherence to company policies.
- Track and resolve purchase order issues, delivery delays, and supplier claims to maintain operations.
- Monitor spend against budgets and review supplier contracts for compliance, addressing discrepancies or defects.
What you will need
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
- Experience using ERP systems for purchasing or procurement processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience sourcing technical equipment, engineered products, or industrial components.
- Experience negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and supplier terms.
- Experience analyzing spend data, cost trends, or supplier performance metrics.
