Location: Cincinnati

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in office / 2 days at home weekly

Travel Requirements: 2-6 weeks per year

Job Summary
The Advanced Analytics team at PatientPoint works on business problems across the enterprise, such as customer attrition, operations, marketing, revenue growth, and optimization of resource allocation. As a senior data scientist, you will work on these problems by gathering data, summarizing, analyzing, building, and visualizing to help end-users make meaningful business decisions based on the insights you create.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with a cross-functional team of stakeholders to develop solutions identified on the Advanced Analytics team roadmap to support strategic initiatives
  • Identify data requirements and using appropriate methods, theories and tools in the data science and machine learning fields to determine what will deliver the most value to our customers
  • Utilize descriptive analytics to predictive models to deliver value to the business
  • Mentor and coach less experienced analytics team members as they continue to develop their skills

What We Need

  • 6+ years of experience responding to stakeholder questions by creating and presenting data analytics
    • Candidates will be asked to provide examples from their previous experience and/or complete a project using analytics to create actionable insights
  • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems or a related field
  • Mastery of the SQL programming language including experience creating complex SQL queries, data views and using functions. Experience working in Snowflake environment preferred
  • Advanced knowledge and competency of machine learning and data science methods including regression analysis, A/B testing, power analysis, anomaly detection, model validation and selection, building of ensemble models, network analysis, simulation, conducting inferential analysis with spatial and time series data, nearest neighbor, deep learning methods, etc.
  • Advanced competency using Python for data analysis and model development building large, at-scale solutions
  • Working knowledge of data visualization in Tableau or comparable data visualization tool

Desired Qualifications

  • Professional experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, digital advertising industries
  • Experience with Snowflake, HEX, AWS SageMaker, mlflow
  • Advanced degree in Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems or a related field

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and consulting skills. Ability to establish and maintain successful cross functional relationships and collaborate closely with multiple teams
  • Comfort in a dynamic, agile work environment, with proficiency in using JIRA for project management and workflow tracking; consistent ability to deliver results aligned to expected timelines
  • Enthusiasm for responding to a dynamic range of questions and analytical challenges
