Job Description
 

Senior Associate, Global Clinical Supply Chain

KEY REPONSIBILITIES:

Associate, Global Clinical Supply Chain is responsible for managing investigational medicinal products (IMP) for Gilead clinical studies. The role works collaboratively within the department and with cross functional colleagues to carry out clinical supply management tasks and ensure on time in full deliveries.

Has foundational working knowledge of supply chain and experience working with GxP environment. Has effective communication skills as a contributing member in a fast-paced, global company.

FOCUS AREAS:

  • Carries out clinical supply tasks according to defined (re)supply strategies and plans.
  • Performs tasks in Gilead systems (e.g., SAP, IVRS, QMS, etc.) to enable compliant and efficient progression of IMP through the supply chain.
  • Reports and escalates supply issues in a timely manner to manager for resolution.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to deliver project-related tasks to meet timelines.
  • Follows SOPs and business process instructions. Maintains compliance to required training.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of industry experience OR Master’s degree and 0+ years of industry experience. OR Associates degree and 4+ years of industry experience. OR High school diploma and 5+ years of industry experience
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain principles.
  • Ability to identify ambiguities and issues for problem solving and/or to escalate to manager.
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheet creation and management, online search, etc.). Ability to learn and adopt systems and databases used at Gilead.
  • Ability to complete tasks within the agreed timelines and resources through manager's guidance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degrees in sciences preferred.

The salary range for this position is: $86,275.00 - $111,650.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
