As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's AMG Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Philadelphia, PA or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

Job Description

As a Software Engineer Lead, you will be part of an Agile team where you will be responsible for the technical design and development of an alternative investment application for our Asset Management line of business. Additionally, you will work with our testers to address bugs or defects and propose & design solutions. As a Software Engineer Lead, you will also be responsible for serving as a mentor for other members of the team.

Preferred Experience :
• Proficiency with Java development (JAVA 8.0 and up)
• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot microservices
• Experience with Angular
• Oracle background
• DEVOPS/Continuous build environment knowledge and experience
• Proficiency in Git
• Previous lead experience
• Ability to work independently and assume ownership of technical solutions
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Working within an Agile Methodology

Secondary Experience :

• Understanding of Kafka streaming
• Exposure to OpenShift could be helpful in this role.
• Experience with Apache
• Exposure to MQ
• Knowledge of Informatica
• Previous financial industry experience

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $158,700.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
