Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a E3 Senior Staff Systems Engineer for the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) division Engineering and Manufacturing team. This role will be in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL and will provide enabling support for all business areas within the SDS portfolio. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure.
What You’ll Get To Do:
The selected candidate will be expected to lead efforts within the E3 team in the areas of EMI/EMC design, compliance, and analysis. This position entails providing critical, actionable feedback on system designs to multiple design teams across the program and providing status updates to program leadership. In this lead role, you will interface with the Government customers on issues related to E3 requirements and design considerations. The E3 Design Support Lead will be able to develop and apply advanced technical principles, techniques, and concepts regarding EMI/EMC to designs and produce findings and document recommendations.
As a Lead position for the Sentinel program for E3, the selected candidate will also be responsible for leading the design support team of E3 engineers to ensure quality and technical execution of E3 design products. In this role the lead will provide oversight, training, and mentorship for junior to mid-level E3 engineers.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Salary Range: $158,200.00 - $237,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
