Position Summary


The Supply Planner is responsible for managing inventory availability, replenishment execution, and supply planning activities for the Colombia market. The role ensures product availability while balancing inventory levels, minimizing backorders, and reducing excess and obsolete inventory. This position acts as the key link between local commercial teams, customer service, regional planning, and global supply organizations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels and replenishment plans to ensure product availability and service continuity.

  • Execute purchase and deployment activities according to regional planning strategies.

  • Monitor inventory health, including stock coverage, shelf life, excess and obsolete inventory (E&O), and slow-moving items.

  • Identify supply risks and develop mitigation plans to prevent stock-outs and customer impact.

  • Support demand and supply reviews by providing inventory insights, risks, opportunities, and action plans.

  • Coordinate with Commercial, Customer Service, Deliver, Quality, and Regulatory teams to support business needs.

  • Lead inventory optimization initiatives while maintaining target service levels.

  • Monitor backorders and drive recovery actions with regional and global stakeholders.

  • Support product launches, phase-ins, phase-outs, and portfolio transitions.

  • Ensure compliance with planning processes, governance standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Participate in S&OE and IBP processes, providing local market visibility and recommendations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, Operations, or Supply Chain.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

  • Fluent Spanish and intermediate/advanced English.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Medical Devices, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, or regulated industries.

  • Knowledge of IBP, S&OP, or Integrated Business Planning processes.

  • Experience with inventory optimization and service level management.
  • Exposure to regional or multinational supply chain environments.
