About the Role: 

Did you know there is a victim of identity theft every 3 seconds in the US? Companies and Cyberthieves track, target and profile you online; your name, address, websites you visit, location, passwords, bank accounts and credit cards are just some of the pieces of data you can leave behind or exposed online.  Gen’s Privacy and Identity team protects the personal data of millions of customers around the world from being abused or stolen.  Working in small, high-energy, driven teams of engineers, designers, go-to-market, and product owners you will develop innovative products to meet the dynamic threat landscape and leverage key technologies like AI to launch new services rapidly.   You will be responsible for the growth of products that protect consumers’ personal information from criminals and unwanted marketers, finding the balance of new product offerings, and the ongoing performance of a suite of services across the LifeLock, Norton and Avast brands.            

What You Will Do in This Role:

Product Strategy and Market Analysis:

  • Manage and oversee the introduction, roadmap, positioning, and maintenance of significant and complex products and product lines.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and market analysis to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Validate concepts through testing and experimentation, and launch minimum viable products (MVPs) for market validation.
  • Execute full-scale rollouts and expansions across platforms and geographies.

Roadmap and Portfolio Management:

  • Strategically manage the product roadmap to optimize value for both customers and the company.
  • Balance the launch of new services and the enhancement of existing ones.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to drive acquisition and retention, emphasizing Net Promoter Score (NPS) and customer satisfaction metrics.

Cross-Functional Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead a group of Researchers, Designers, Engineers, and Marketers to innovate, design, and build solutions that meet customer needs and drive growth.
  • Work closely with product leaders to influence overall product vision, strategy, and prioritization, using qualitative and quantitative data to support your decisions.
  • Regularly inform executives of progress, impediments, solutions, and opportunities through presentations and memos.

Business Case Development and Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to develop short and long-term forecasts for new lines of business, ensuring financial viability.
  • Develop and present ROI-based business cases to secure necessary resources and funding for new product initiatives.

Analytics and Performance Metrics:

  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics to track the success of new products.
  • Make data-driven adjustments to strategies as needed.
  • Perform a range of business analytics, from problem/root cause identification to defining new business economics, to support the development and launch of new products.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in product management.

Salary Ranges:

$189,700.00 - $224,500.00

The pay range depicts a base salary range for all positions except commission-based roles.  The pay range for commission-based roles represents On Target Earnings (annual base salary + target annual commission).  Additional compensation elements may be offered including an opportunity for bonus incentives and also competitive benefits package.  Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as the external/internal market demand, location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
