• Risk Management Solutions: Develop risk management solutions within the Murex platform, leveraging Oracle database for data storage and retrieval.
• Data Science Analysis: Utilize Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, MapReduce, Spark, and Hive, to perform data analysis and implement data science algorithms.
• Integration: Integrate Murex platform with Hadoop-based data science pipelines to enable seamless data flow and processing between systems.
• Algorithm Development: Design and implement machine learning algorithms and statistical models for risk assessment, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
• Data Processing: Manage and optimize data processing workflows within the Hadoop ecosystem to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Programming: Utilize SQL, Java, and Python for programming tasks related to data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis.
• Hadoop Development: Work with HDFS, Hive, and other Big Data technologies to develop and maintain data pipelines.
• Shell Scripting & Automation: Develop Unix Shell Scripts (ksh, perl, etc.) for system automation and data processing.
• Database Management: Write and optimize SQL queries for MariaDB/Oracle, ensuring efficient data operations.
• Application Deployment & Support: Work with JBoss for application deployment and troubleshooting.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business users to understand requirements and enhance system capabilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

• minimum 3 years of experience in risk management and data science roles, with a focus on utilizing Hadoop technologies.

• Familiarity with the Murex platform and its functionalities, particularly in the context of risk management.

• Proficiency in Oracle database management, including SQL querying and optimization.

• Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools.

• Proficiency in SQL, Java, and Python for data manipulation, algorithm development, and system integration tasks.

• Experience working with Linux, AIX, Solaris, and other open systems for system administration and infrastructure management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and preferably within a banking environment.

• Must-Have:
  o Hadoop (Big Data, HDFS, HIVE)
  o Unix Shell Scripting (ksh, perl, etc.)
  o SQL (MariaDB or Oracle, not DBA skill)
  o JBoss Application Server
  Good-to-Have:
  o Python & PL/SQL
  o AML Functional & Machine Learning knowledge
