This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.

The Digital Experience Design team (DXD) is at the convergence of technological innovation, creativity, and opportunity at Comcast. With a focus on delivering top-notch and innovative experience strategy, content & design for Xfinity.com this role is accountable for the user experience, working closely with various business teams focused on Sales, Existing Customer, Marketing, Product, and Brand experience to ensure both business vision and customer expectations are met.
Role Description
Looking for someone who is super passionate about good, accessible, usability standards and how they are scaled across design systems and teams. As a UX Visual Designer intern you will help support the design standards and creative that reaches our millions of prospects and customer-base, helping our design team work as efficiently as possible.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
This role sits within our Design System team. This team maintains our design figma libraries, advocates for good design practice, and helps smooth our design operations.
Where can this student make an impact?
This role has the opportunity to shape how our teams work within our design tools, how our libraries are structured, and how we can enhance the UX of the components used on Xfinity.com.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Analyze and propose solutions for enhancing existing tools and processes
Assist in creation and organization of components in Figma
Explore alternate UX patterns for our existing components set
Provide documentation on existing UX patterns and behaviors
Assist designers in creative exploration of marketing templates
Provides research and assistance to leadership in the development and design of new components.
Participate in design ideation sessions
Interview and analyze team members processes and tool preferences
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Figma
Experience with UX/UI designer on digital web and mobile projects
Information architecture – ability to map out ideas and processes
An attitude that is proactive, analytical, and organized
Preferred Majors: UI/UX Design
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Compensation
Base Pay: $23.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
