Job Description Summary

The Lead Finance Specialist – Commercial Finance Management will be supporting the financial ITO to OTR handover Center-of-Excellence (COE) and will be responsible for establishing financial and operational baselines for project execution across all regions. This role will focus on newly won and high-probability projects for HDGT and Aero to understand key execution requirements, projected budgets, risks, and opportunities.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of newly won projects to identify risks and opportunities and establish execution-ready budgets.
  • Develop legal entity structures for projects, manage transfer pricing agreements in coordination with Tax teams.
  • Organize and lead cross-functional budget release meetings to ensure smooth ITO to OTR transitions.
  • Set up new projects in the OTR tools and provide support to the project finance managers during the handover period.
  • Participate in the feedback loop mechanisms with the Commercial teams to ensure process gaps get identified and fixed.
  • Collaborate with HDGT Commercial Finance, FP&A, Controllership, Supply Chain, and OTR Finance to optimize project budgets and improve profitability.
  • Perform quarterly root cause analysis on Estimate at Completion (EAC) variances, working with commercial teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
  • Support financial analysis and process improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Significant finance, accounting or audit experience with demonstrated growth over roles of increasing responsibility.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle from bid to execution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $95,300 and $158,700 annual. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
