What you'll do 

As a Scrum Master in one of our teams, you will have the opportunity to further your career in a leadership position while continuing to be strongly aligned with your passion for programming and software development. 

• You’ll empower others by establishing and growing self-organizational capabilities within a team. 
• You’ll collaborate in a way that guides the creation of effective outcomes, both in the team and across broader initiatives. You will also bring an awareness of team pressures, constraints, progress, and individual motivations.
• You’ll work with individuals to help coach and support their development needs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 
• Participate in document reviews and enforce quality assurance processes.
• As a team member, you’ll look for opportunities to help the team.
• You’ll contribute and will be responsible for the sprint goals through your interpersonal and technical skills and experience in the software industry.
• As a People Manager, help your team members with their career development and make individuals understand their strengths and weaknesses.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Tertiary qualifications in computer science or a related discipline.
• Have 10+ years of technical experience in commercial/enterprise software development and hands-on experience in Perl/Python/C++/EPM programming language.
• Have led a team as its Scrum Master for at least 3 years.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile and Scrum. Experience with scaled agile practices is favorable.
• Experience with ADO and DevOps.
• Experience managing technical staff is mandatory.
• Technical experience in commercial/enterprise software team leadership is valued.
• Experience using Linux environments to develop, deploy, and manage commercial applications is desired.
