Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Operations Manager to join our team to oversee and manage the operational aspects of a major infrastructure engagement based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting operations management, preferably within the infrastructure or construction sectors, and a strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian business environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support and deliver internal day-to-day operations to ensure the project runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Supports the management of sub-consultant contracts and internal procurement procedures.
• Team Coordination: Lead aspects of, and coordinate project teams with finance and human resources.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and their impact on operations.
• Oversee internal project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Monitor project expenditures and optimize resource allocation.
• Work with the finance team to ensure financial goals are met.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and local authorities.
• Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• BSc. or MSc. Degree in a relevant subject is preferred.
• At least 10 years' experience in similar positions (HR, Finance, Operations).
• Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian business landscape and regulatory environment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
