This unique role bridges science and business, helping customers implement cutting-edge solutions in pathogen detection, allergens, hygiene monitoring, and mycotoxins—backed by Neogen’s globally trusted platforms like Petrifilm, MDS, Reveal, Veratox, Clean-Trace and more.

Why This Role Matters

As a Solution Specialist, you will be a key technical advisor, collaborating closely with our Field Technical Service (FTS) team and Sales (TBMs & IS) to guide customers through pre-sale evaluations and post-sale readiness. Your insights and support will drive growth, build long-term relationships, and help our partners elevate their food safety programs.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert across our full microbiology and chemistry portfolio.
• Work hand-in-hand with the FTS team and sales reps to coordinate product evaluations, demos, and technical presentations.
• Support pre-sale technical assessments to ensure customer solutions are tailored and viable.
• Participate in key account strategy, product launches, trade shows, and training events.
• Deliver cross-functional collaboration that enhances implementation success and customer satisfaction.
• Champion our mission to make the world safer by improving food safety across industries.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s (or higher) in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotech, or a related field.
• Experience in the food industry or diagnostics, ideally with customer-facing or technical support experience.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to manage priorities, travel up to 50% within Canada, and work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP, PCQI, CFIA, or FDA requirements is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/French) is a significant asset.
