What you will do

We are looking for and Analyst, Investment Operations within PGIM O&I. This position will support the Derivatives Accounting & Reporting Group responsible for providing accounting, financial reporting, and recordkeeping support for Prudential and its subsidiaries. The financial reporting is performed on a Statutory, GAAP, GAAP Stand Alone, and Tax basis specifically supporting the Derivatives asset type.

This hands-on opportunity leverages investment knowledge, technical and analytical skills, strong work ethic and interpersonal skills

This position is based in our office in Tampa, Florida or Newark , NJ. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. Working from the office is encouraged when working on tasks that require a high degree of collaboration.

What you can expect

  • Support the daily processing and monitoring of a wide array of derivative asset types, their cash settlements, and collateral movements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Statutory, GAAP, and Tax reporting to meet all regulatory filing requirements.
  • Partner with internal clients and business partners to complete various ad-hoc requests and special projects.
  • Identify, implement and perform key controls that will improve overall data quality.
  • Utilize various applications such as PAM(Accounting System), Oracle Ledger, Cognos reports, MS Excel, etc.  to analyze data and prepare financial reporting.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor degree required with a major in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or Information Systems preferred
  • Experience with investment security types is a plus.
  • Successful PC skills with proficiency in MS Excel
  • Successful analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to organize/prioritize tasks and work in a deadline oriented environment
  • Tight-knit collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills, resourcefulness and attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task/juggle multiple assignments and meet deadlines

What will set you apart?

  • Prior background / internship experience in investment management or financial services Industry is strongly preferred

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $60,000-$70,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
