Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Influential Communication Possesses knowledge of: Verbal/nonverbal behaviors; application and allocation of business communication styles/techniques in ambiguous and challenging situations; situational awareness; communication channels/mediums; interpersonal skills and universal relationship building. Recommends methods for using web analytics to cultivate high-value customers. Supports the integration of analytics with other applications (for example, enterprise data warehouses, business intelligence tools, predictive analytic models). Leverages competitor and industry insights to measure site success and inform future site strategies. Campaigns and Launches Possesses knowledge of: Campaign processes; program/project management tools; promotional tools and methods; promotional guidelines. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Reviews plans and campaign management processes. Predicts and resolves problems during a launch. Advises team members on the selection of campaign objectives, scopes, formats, and other arrangements. Develops partnerships and strategies with Marketing, Homepage, and other SBU teams for linking opportunities. Partners with Merchants to provide proactive guidance on product launches and promotional campaigns. Evaluates performance and provides relevant insights and recommendations. Ensures that all campaign management activities comply with applicable branding guidelines and institutional standards. Oversees launch workflows and ensures a smooth run of events. 360 Content Storytelling and Visual Narrative Possesses knowledge of: Content creation tools; organizational style guidelines and principles; customer/user base behaviors. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Maintains a competitive edge in 360 storytelling by using bestin-class approaches and narratives. Monitors and shares insight on best-in-class storytelling formats and strategies. Leverages a variety of tools, techniques, and processes for content creation and management. Ensures photographs are consistent with organizational expectations and standards. Provides insight into ethics and aesthetic rules for photo curation and final assets. Delivers memorable, insightful information to customers through stories that successfully convey product or service value. Teaches effective business storytelling methods, techniques, examples, and best practices. Coaches team members on effective influencing strategies and tactics. Trend Forecasting Analysis Possesses knowledge of: Trend forecasting techniques; data gathering and reporting tools; market trend analysis processes. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Develops strategies for the access to, application, and interpretation of new consumer and competitor data sets and channels. Advocates for and acts as subject-matter expert on new and innovative forecasting technologies capabilities. Oversees trend reporting across categories and leverages insights to help SBU partners drive holistic site content and category strategies. Keeps the business informed on market disruptions and competition, identifying required changes in current and future forecasting initiatives. Editorial Best Practices Development Possesses knowledge of: Industry editorial and content trends; research methodologies; editorial best practices; relevant storytelling narratives and processes. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Establishes, modifies, and documents editorial governance strategies and initiatives. Provides guidance to business stakeholders and team members on the implementation of editorial governance practices. Determines editorial governance processes, practices, policies, and guidelines. Drives the successful adoption of organizational editorial best practices. Leads in defining editorial and content best practices. Tracks and monitors the performance and impact of the editorial strategy. Adjusts practices and guidelines based on results. Site and Marketing Outputs Possesses knowledge of: Content development and guidelines across all platforms; content management tools and asset creation processes. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Manages content creators and editors, ensuring compliance with quality standards and relevancy. Ensures that material is up to date and relevant, taking into account market trends and customer needs. Plans, designs, and develops content for multiple purposes, products, services, and platforms. Integrates audience preferences into the creation of content. Advises on techniques and methods in order to present high-level photography and final assets. Ensures that photo shoot issues are identified and communicated to relevant project personnel. Plans and develop photo shoot outputs, timelines, and products. Implements and manages new, social media-based programs that drive engagement and sales. Acts as curator of social media interactions and content in collaboration with Marketing. Designs and implements uses cases, interaction flows, and interactive mockups for interactive media. Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.
