Sourcing Leadership:
Lead multi-sourcing efforts for 2nd Life Phones, negotiating competitive terms and ensuring the timely supply of products that meet market demands.
Implement inventory optimization strategies and ensure sufficient supplier coverage (at least two suppliers per device per country).
Oversee distributor onboarding, ensuring partnerships align with M-KOPA’s objectives.
Product Management:
Manage new phone model transitions, verifying technical compatibility for each market.
Coordinate with the Market and 2nd Life Project Management teams to ensure successful product launches and lifecycle management.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Own supplier relationships, acting as the primary point of contact while prioritizing M-KOPA’s interests.
Provide ongoing support for new and existing products, and coordinate with legal teams to develop supplier contracts and agreements.
Team Development:
Mentor and develop a team of sourcing professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Who We’re Looking For
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably with 2nd life/refurbished phones.
Proven expertise in supplier relationship management, negotiation, and category management strategies.
Technical knowledge to assess phone and market compatibility.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
Familiarity with sourcing tools and software
