THE ROLE

Unit is currently looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, who will join our security team to build and manage Unit's cloud security aspects from the ground up.

The desired candidate should be well-organized and highly motivated, with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and cloud security including driving improvements in technical architecture, standards, and processes in a fast-growing environment. We are looking for a true team player, who can make an immediate impact within our growing and dynamic organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analysis, evaluation, and execution of an ideal cloud security offering that integrates development activities, information security, and the automated release methods within the CI/CD pipeline.

• Accountable for identifying weaknesses in our security posture within the cloud architecture while defining methods to achieve security control.

• Implement new cloud security products, manage and maintain them together with our DevOps team.

• Develops standards, policies, and procedures as well as best practices documentation.

• Serve as a source of knowledge for cloud security matters.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

• At least 5 years working as a hands-on security engineer

• At least 3 years of proven hands-on experience with one of the main cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Experience with Kubernetes and Containers

• Experience with CI/CD

• Independent, able to complete tasks end to end, prioritize your tasks and build relationships across the organization.

• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
